Employee Assistance Programs

Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) are offered by employers as a benefit to employees and their families to provide confidential counseling and supportive services on personal or professional issues that may be impacting work performance. These could include depression, anxiety, substance abuse, relationship/family issues, work concerns, grief/loss, stress, attention and focus, as well as a variety of other concerns.

Our EAP therapists are available to the employers with whom we work to provide critical- incident stress management following traumatic workplace events.

Our EAP services also provide on-site training for employees on an array of topics that will positively benefit wellness and professional health. Popular topics have included:

  • Workplace Harassment
  • Effective Communication
  • Stress Management
  • Mindfulness
  • Depression and Anxiety
  • Substance Abuse
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Dealing with Change
  • Work/Life Balance

Our EAP Services are set apart by being able to provide appointments quickly, access to a variety of therapists with different backgrounds and skills to best suit the particular need, and in-house access to psychiatry referrals when needed.

If companies interested in our EAP services have employees who do not live locally, we are often able to set up telehealth counseling sessions to provide EAP counseling remotely.

For more information on partnering with Clinical Associates for your organization's EAP, please call Nik Dier, Coordinator of EAP Services at (607) 936-1771 or email
